A perfect stay - a peaceful sanctuary!

Manuela and Richard could not have been more welcoming; The barge was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. Felt completely relaxed after leaving, only regret is that we only booked two nights and not three.

The bed is not too short! Manuela was the perfect host and the boat was the perfect location. Easy to access, amazingly comfortable, and filled with more facilities and conveniences than could be imagined. We had an amazing time in Manuela and Peter boat! Everything was exactly as the photos, scene his photo is so big and you can find everything clip cook and chai latte to have breakfast! We had a lovely 2 nights at Barge. Thank you for having us XX. Great stay on the Dutch barge, everything was exactly as described on the website.

The boat has everything you could need and lots of little touches to make it feel like clip home.

Manuela and Richard were excellent hosts, easy to contact and very accommodating. I would thoroughly recommend this trip to anyone. This barge had everything we needed. We were attending a convention for the weekend and after all the hustle and bustle and noise of that, it was so nice to come back to the quiet.

It was very clean and we never felt like we were on boat. Manuela was fantastic and we would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Manuela and Richard for fabulous stay! We never had the privilege of meeting Manuela, but Richard was an excellent host, and helped us all along the way. The lovely boat was well appointed and cozy. We especially loved the warm electric fireplace, where we started and ended each day with a hot cuppa tea. Alan, was really great.

He met us at the station, was very welcoming and gave us a full overview of the Cruising park which was really comforting for us.

There was 5 of us in total and we all had a really pleasant sleep. The location was Cruising park scene 2 his clip central, we could walk everywhere we needed to. Alan was super organized and thoughtful. He made sure we had all of the info needed for our stay and met us to give a quick overview of the boat.

He also showed us where to park and provided us with almond milk. Breakfast was very tasty at his nearby stand and my dog enjoyed the sausage thrown her way. The boat is in a great location, right next to the station and walking distance to town. We did a walking tour to see the university and then enjoyed the day on the boat.

Very unique experience, I recommend it. Alan's boat is the loveliest venue that I've stayed in years. Me and my boyfriend came for a couple of days to rediscover Oxford, and this was certainly unique in comparison with staying in a hotel.

Alan kindly met us and showed us around, explained all the facilities on the boat, was always available on the phone, gave good local advice on where to eat and what to do, and made us feel welcome and safe.

The boat is located most centrally yet very private and pastoral on a little canal, where you wake up to see swans and ducks sail past your window, and spend lovely hours just enjoying the atmosphere on board, which instantaneously feels like cozy home. We would certainly stay at Alan's again, and would recommend his boat to anyone.

Thanks for a fantastic time, and yummiest "bebe's bacon baps" breakfast at your organic food cart. Alan was a fantastic host.
